El Hotel Intercontinental Bucarest[1] (en rumano: Hotelul Intercontinental din București) es un rascacielos y hotel de cinco estrellas situado cerca de Plaza de la Universidad, en la ciudad de Bucarest, Rumania en el sector 1 y también un símbolo de la ciudad. Tiene 77 m de altura y tiene 25 pisos, que contiene 283 habitaciones, operado por InterContinental Hotels Group.
Diseñado por Dinu Hariton, Gheorghe Nadrag, Ion Moscú y Romeo Belea, que era parte de un proyecto más grande que incluía el edificio del Teatro Nacional de Bucarest.

Dutch Hotel Intercontinental Boekarest
Hotel Intercontinental Boekarest was het eerste internationale hotel in de Roemeense hoofdstad Boekarest. Het hotel ligt in het hart van de stad, aan het Piața Universității. Naast het hotel heb je aan dit plein (piața) ook de Universiteit van Boekarest en het "Ion Luca Caragiale" theater. Het hotel is het hoogste gebouw van Roemenië.
Er zijn drie restaurants (Corso Brasserie, Balada en Madrigal) die gespecialiseerd zijn in de internationale keukens en de Roemeense keuken. Het hotel biedt een fitnesscentrum, zwembad, sauna en een beauty clinic.

Polish InterContinental Bucharest
InterContinental Bucharest – pięciogwiazdkowy hotel w stolicy Rumunii, Bukareszcie, przy Piaţa Universităţii. Jest to najwyższy hotel kraju, ma 90 metrów wysokości i 22 piętra; jest również jednym z symboli Bukaresztu.
Budowę hotelu rozpoczęto w 1967, ukończono w 1970, a oficjalne otwarcie nastąpiło w maju 1971 – był to wówczas największy budynek w mieście. Od 2007 zarządza nim InterContinental Hotels Group.
W hotelu znajdują się 283 pokoje gościnne, każdy z panoramą stolicy. Na 21 i 22 piętrze umiejscowiono sale konferencyjne, centrum odnowy biologicznej, centrum fitness, taras zewnętrzny oraz kryty basen. Najbardziej luksusowy apartament (Imperialny – Apartamentul Imperial) znajduje się na 19 piętrze – posiada m.in. dwie sypialnie, saunę oraz fortepian; jego powierzchnia wynosi 240 metrów kwadratowych.

Hotelul Intercontinental este un hotel de 5 stele din București, amplasat în Piața Universității, sectorul 1 și totodată un simbol al orașului. A fost construit în perioada comunistă, fiind una din cele mai înalte clădiri.

L'InterContinental fu il primo albergo a cinque stelle ad essere realizzato nella capitale rumena. La sua inaugurazione risale infatti al 1971. Tuttora detiene il primato di hotel più alto di Bucarest ed è imbattibile quanto a vedute panoramiche sulla città.
