The Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA) is the main gallery of contemporary art in Glasgow, Scotland.
GoMA offers a programme of temporary exhibitions and workshops. GoMA displays work by local and international artists as well as addressing contemporary social issues through its major biannual projects.

LA Galería de Arte Moderno de Glasgow (Gallery of Modern Art en inglés, también conocido como GoMA) se inauguró en el año 1996, en uno de los edificios más icónicos de Glasgow (Escocia) situado en la “ Royal Exchange Square”, una plaza en el centro de la ciudad.
El GoMA dedica sus salas a diferentes exposiciones temporales de arte moderno, de vanguardia, tanto de artistas locales como internacionales desde mediados de los 50 hasta el presente. Los materiales expuestos son de gran variedad: pintura, escultura, fotografías o videos, entre otros. Aparte de estas exposiciones, también organizan diversos talleres para niños y adultos.
La entrada al museo es gratuita aunque existe la opción de dejar una donación a la salida de este.
Según la asociación ALVA (Association of Leading Visitor Attractions), el GoMA es la galería de arte moderno más visitada de Escocia, con un total de 595,977 visitas en 2012.

English Gallery of Modern Art
This gallery houses a terrific collection of recent paintings and sculptures, with space for new exhibitions. In the basement is one of Glasgow's many public libraries, with free internet access and cafe. The equestrian statue of the Duke of Wellington in front of the museum is famous for the traffic cone he usually wears on his head; it's put there by pranksters. The Glasgow Council doesn't find this as amusing as most tourists and residents do, and periodically removes it - if it's missing, and you want a photo, just come back the next day and it will likely be back.
