English Two Temple Place

Two Temple Place, known for many years as Astor House, is a building situated near Victoria Embankment in central London. It is known for its architecture, and contains notable works by the likes of William Silver Frith, Sir George Frampton RA, Nathaniel Hitch and Thomas Nicholls.On 28 October 2011, Two Temple Place opened as a public gallery. It is a London venue specifically to showcase publicly owned art from regional collections in the United Kingdom, and is only open to the public during exhibitions.

German Two Temple Place

Two Temple Place (2 Temple Place) ist ein 1892 bis 1895 im späten viktorianischen Stil erbautes Herrenhaus im Zentrum Londons. Nach seinem Bauherrn William Waldorf Astor (1848–1919) ist es auch als Astor House oder Astor Estate Office bekannt. Es befindet sich nahe dem Victoria Embankment und verfügt über bedeutenden äußeren und inneren Schmuck.

English Two Temple Place (Astor House)

A former home for William Waldorf Astor, a wealthy American moved to London at the end of 19th century. This Victorian house, built between 1892-1895 by John Loughborough Pearson. is in an eclectic Neo-Gothic style. It's richly decorated from outside, but even more rich and heavily eclectic inside. The building is owned by the Bulldog Trust and it's open to the public during exhibitions. For exact dates/time check with the exhibitions schedule. A café, a shop and a cloakroom are open for visitors during these days.

Italian Two Temple Place (Astor House)

Fu una delle case di William Waldorf Astor, un ricco americano che visse a Londra alla fine del XIX secolo. Casa vittoriana costruita tra il 1892 e il 1895 da John Loughborough Pearson in uno stile gotico piuttosto eclettico. Riccamente decorata sull'esterno ma ancora più decorati sono i suoi interni. Oggi è di proprietà della Bulldog Trust ed è aperta al pubblico durante le mostre, per sapere le date delle quali basta controllare programma delle mostre. Durante questi giorni sono aperti al pubblico anche una caffetteria, un negozio di souvenir e un guardaroba.
