English Circular Quay

Circular Quay is a harbour, former working port and now international passenger shipping port, public piazza and tourism precinct, heritage area, and transport node located in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia on the northern edge of the Sydney central business district on Sydney Cove, between Bennelong Point and The Rocks. It is part of the local government area of the City of Sydney.The Circular Quay area is a popular neighbourhood for tourism and consists of walkways, pedestrian malls, parks and restaurants. It hosts a number of ferry quays, bus stops, and a railway station. Often referred to as the "gateway to Sydney", the precinct has views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House and is a common location for viewing Sydney New Year's Eve fireworks.

German Circular Quay

Der Circular Quay befindet sich am nördlichen Ende des Stadtzentrums von Sydney, New South Wales, Australien. Beim Circular Quay handelt es sich um Straßen und angrenzende Gebäude, welche rings um den Sydney Cove liegen. Das östliche Ende bildet der Bennelong Point mit dem Sydney Opera House, das westliche Ende bildet der Campbells Cove, welcher heute vor allem als Anlegeplatz des Nachbaus der Bounty bekannt ist.

Die genaue Abgrenzung des Circular Quay zu den angrenzenden Stadtteilen Sydneys ist nicht immer einfach, besonders die Übergänge zum Stadtteil The Rocks sind eher fließend.

Situato nell'area nord del Distretto centrale di Sydney a Sydney Cove, fra i quartieri di Bennelong Point e The Rocks; fa parte della Local Government Area della Città di Sydney.

Circular Quay è un quartiere famoso per il turismo, fatto da numerose aree pedonali lungo la costa del mare, centri commerciali, parchi e ristoranti. Sono presenti anche varie fermate di bus, banchine per traghetti e una stazione ferroviaria.

Circular Quay è la zona principale, a causa della sua centralità, in cui si svolgono le feste e le celebrazioni della città, tra cui il capodanno.

A Circular Quay si trovano anche il Museo di arte contemporanea di Sydney e la Biblioteca della Città di Sydney.

Nell'autunno del 2006 vi si è svolta la mostra all'aperto più grande d'Australia: gli United Buddy Bears son rimasti per più di 7 settimane esposti nella città.

サーキュラー・キーには、歩道が整備され、ショッピングモール、公園、レストランが軒を連ねる。また、シドニー湾を横断するフェリー乗り場、バスターミナル、鉄道駅が設けられていることから、シドニーの交通の中心でもある。

環形碼頭(又譯圓形碼頭或環迴碼頭;英文:Circular Quay)是澳洲新南威爾斯州悉尼的一個地區,位於便利朗角(Bennelong Point)和岩石區(The Rocks)之間的悉尼灣的悉尼商業中心區的北部邊緣。環形碼頭也是悉尼市地方政府區域的一部分。
